Sea Escapes

Sea Escapes is a beautifully written love story. You are drawn into the characters lives right away. I was saddened by the depth of Rachelle’s loss & heartbreak, yet inspired by her strength & perseverance to regain her life. I was excited when she met Dev, a gentle giant, and watched them sweetly falling in love. It’s a wonderful story showing the healing power & joy found in true love.

Young Rachelle Simone has come to this peaceful seaside village near Atlantic, North Carolina to escape her painful past and try to heal from the recent devastating loss of her family. She never expected to find anything more.

Renowned and eccentric artist, Jacques Deveraux, summers here every year to take advantage of the unique light for painting his exquisite seascapes. By the sea, he can lose himself in his work and forget about the lifelong heartache of an absentee father and the pain of failed relationships.

Neither were looking for love, but it seems some outside forces, perhaps destiny, have led them to find each other at just the right time. A whirlwind summer romance sets them on course for more than they ever imagined. From the balmy shores of the North Carolina coast to the glamour of New York City, and to the rugged coast Of Maine, the two embark on a journey of a lifetime.

Thasia Anne brings this story to life with vivid imagery, well-written and relatable characters, and emotion. Sea Escapes is so much more than a love story. It is a story of hope and salvation; a story of forgiveness and redemption.
