What a spring and summer.

I hope that you have all been well.

It has been a whirlwind. I have been writing and submitting. I have even been blessed with a few poems being accepted and put up on Hotel Masticadores through editor Nolcha Fox. I was accepted into a couple editions of monthly Pennsylvania Poetic Voices. I also released my latest novel; “How Far Must I Go?” It is the tale of a young woman and her hundred pound Chow dog Bailey, leaving Erie, Pa. in a van and traveling from shelter to shelter across the US. fleeing her abusive husband. She lands in Casa Grande AZ. just as Bailey is getting car sick. A handsome veterinarian sees Connie crying in the park with her dog and offers assistance. The journey to trust and safety is long. There are many reasons for her to fear. However; Manny has the patience.

The main reason I have not been on here is my husbands health. He was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer. We went through Chem and Immuno. And then the end of July he had surgery to remove the dead mass, and have the spots on his liver ablated. He is home and doing great, but it has been an adventure.

I take my work here very seriously, but I took the threat on my husbands life more seriously.

I have held two poetry workshops, and organized the Ladies Event for October.

I plan to be back to regular postings.
